Cons

【Interview】

1. The interview location was actually directly opposite the fishing port, and I spent a long time looking for it myself…

The exterior wall of the building says: Zhenfa Frozen Factory

After entering, the sign outside the company's glass doors says: Huawei Fisheries Co., Ltd.

The job posting website says: Zhensheng Fisheries Co., Ltd.

2. When HR notified me about the interview, they only provided the address and did not mention at all that the company had other names. Although there was a street number, it was extremely small, and I spent a long time looking for it myself.

3. The reception desk on the first floor belongs to Huawei Fisheries Co., Ltd. Interviewees need to take the elevator on the left to the 3rd floor for the interview.

(On the phone, they only said to bring a résumé; they said there was nothing else to prepare.)

4. After going up to the 3rd floor, they will first collect your résumé.

After that, you will take a written test (five accounting journal-entry questions).

<There is a written test on the day of the interview; it is not multiple-choice or true-or-false. If you do not know accounting journal entries, don't go to the interview—it will waste both parties' time.>

5. After the written test, there is an interview and discussion.

The interviewer did not mention anything at all about the company's benefits, salary, working hours, or anything like that.

In the end, they only said that they would notify me within three days whether I had been hired.

【Environment】

1. The company's interior environment is acceptable, and there is not much fishy smell. However, the atmosphere at work is poor—lifeless and gloomy.

2. The company's external environment is poor, as it is directly opposite the fishing port.

Outside the office building, the air is filled with a very strong smell of fish, blood, and seawater. It is stinky, and the smell is unpleasant enough to make you feel like vomiting.

3. The company is located next to the Qijin Harbor Tunnel.

There are many container trucks, tractor-trailers, and large trucks on the road,

and they all drive very fast, so those riding there themselves should be careful.

4. The houses in the area look like they have quite a history—old and dirty. I did not see any banks or post offices. There are many frozen-food factories that make ice. There is a Hi-Life convenience store nearby, but there are very few lunch options.

5. Conclusion:

If you do not like that kind of environment, do not go to the interview.
