Primarily an antenna company that also operates in the medical device products sector. I am a member of the general manager’s office here. Apart from the difficulty of always being out of sync with the department manager, I get along very well with colleagues from other departments. Experienced colleagues are also very willing to teach and provide assistance.
When I encounter difficulties or things I do not understand, relevant colleagues provide professional advice, so I do not have to worry about being stumped by customers because I am unfamiliar with the field.
The department manager hopes that the staff below can all multitask, with each member taking on multiple roles. As a result, everyone learns a little bit of this and a little bit of that, leaving employees somewhat like a squirrel with many skills but none mastered. Employee turnover is very high, and when someone leaves, the position often becomes a one-person-per-opening situation.
In interactions or communication with the manager, simply expressing an opposing opinion can easily leave a very bad impression in the manager’s mind. Moreover, after someone leaves, the manager tends to publicly discuss all the former employee’s faults in meetings.
