1. Few people and a simple environment; clean and tidy (because it has to be cleaned every day)
2. Whenever someone leaves, the workload for those remaining increases, and their pay will increase along with it. It is not bad as a first job for gaining experience, and you can learn the Dingxin ERP system.
3. Overtime pay is provided for working on holidays.
4. The boss’s son has a better personality and has been abroad for many years. If you can hold out until he takes over, it should become a great company!
1. The boss’s wife will pick an employee she dislikes and bully them. If the bullied employee resigns, she will continue looking for the next target. When I first joined, I could only watch as good-natured colleagues were bullied one by one until they resigned. After staying until I became a veteran in the eyes of outside visitors, I then became the target of bullying myself. After I resigned, all the employees at the company were new hires who had been there for less than six months.
2. There are many strange policies. For example, leave cannot be taken on Mondays or Fridays. Even when Taiwan has a national holiday, the Taiwan company must follow the work schedule of the overseas factory; when the overseas location has a holiday, the Taiwan company must work as usual. You should be mentally prepared for employees of the Taiwan company to be treated as second-class citizens. However, if you are brave enough, you can refuse the above as well : ) Just be careful, as they may become unhappy with you.
3. You need to help handle many of the boss’s personal affairs—they make full use of their employees. The upside is that you can learn a lot (so this can be considered either a pro or a con).
