There are showers, vending machines, a snack cabinet, coffee, milk, massage, VR games, and more.
The environment is pretty good. They sometimes hold inspirational courses, yoga classes, and so on.
1. Infighting within the department is really serious.
2. Managers genuinely never know what employees need.
3. The managers’ training is half-baked. For new employees, the training materials are like a heavenly book—impossible to understand. When questions are raised, they are unwilling to provide further explanations.
4. Managers speak in a very sarcastic and cutting manner; they even make snide remarks about other departments during meetings.
5. Some managers’ words and actions are extremely negative.
6. Taiwanese managers appear to offer employees greater flexibility, but in practice there are many restrictions.
7. The company founders in another department left collectively, yet the company made a deliberate and high-profile effort to prohibit employees from discussing the matter.
8. Applying for parental leave is made extremely difficult, and managers will argue with you about it.
9. Senior employees take the lead in bullying new hires who are struggling. Some even continue to make sarcastic remarks after leaving the company.
10. When a department team leader is reprimanded by a manager, they shift the blame onto employees who are being laid off.
