The office is beautiful but useless; in fact, it hardly has any advantages.

The assistant manager is a thug who does nothing but berate people every day. When new employees report for work, they are given a card: one side is red, representing work, and the other is green, representing rest. Whenever you leave your station, you have to flip the card. During working hours, you can only do work-related things and are not allowed to eat. There is a ten-minute break in the morning and a fifteen-minute break in the afternoon. It feels like being in prison. The warden says unreasonable things and does not allow anyone to argue back; if you do, you are told to shut up. Even during meetings with suppliers, the assistant manager berates subordinates without holding back, despite the fact that it is clearly not their fault. Employees are also arbitrarily assigned tasks outside their job duties without prior notice. Although the job is supposed to be office-based, employees are often sent to support the production line. At six o’clock, regardless of whether the workday has ended, everyone must clock out first. Since overtime pay is not provided, this is used to evade the labor bureau’s inspection of overtime records. The manager gives orders as if they were military commands and speaks very rudely, with no empathy. Even when an office employee has a fractured foot, they are still required to support the production line; anyone who disobeys is berated. The manager is domineering and, whenever displeased, may tell you to leave at any time.
