Most of the work consists of government contracts, so it is relatively stable. The salary is average. Once you get used to the work, it can be a company to stay with until retirement.
1. Unable to make use of school resources.
2. Because the company takes on government contracts, deadlines are always very tight, leaving no opportunity for you to grow.
3. Each SA has a different way of doing things, making the work quite chaotic. There is also no unified coding style.
4. Overtime pay is calculated hourly, but they may ask you to work overtime to meet project deadlines without paying overtime, or scrutinize you if you report too much overtime. It is terrible.
5. As long as you have been there a long time and made contributions, they cannot do anything to or criticize you—even playing games during work hours is acceptable.
6. If you happen to work on a project with a veteran employee, the SA cannot take action against the veteran and will only find someone who is not a veteran to scold.
7. The number of projects requiring maintenance will only continue to increase, and there are holes everywhere.
