Flexible commuting hours, flexible scheduling, and a results-oriented work system; salaries are higher than the market average.
Employees are treated merely as tools. Managers only want to use you to share the workload, and there is little to learn. Although the hours are flexible, the company culture and style still make people feel constantly on edge, making it impossible to develop a sense of belonging—let alone feel secure enough to stay long term. Because it is a family-owned business, with the top management adopting an American-style approach, there are many small cliques, and the company is extremely cold-blooded and realistic! After using you, they may very well fire you or make you take the blame; make even one mistake and you will be shown no mercy! Employees are treated as tools, so they have no sense of loyalty toward the company and are also extremely calculating with it—a relationship based entirely on mutual exploitation! Each department operates independently, refuses to cooperate, attacks the others, and pushes matters off whenever possible. The bonuses and raises you receive are strongly related to whether you have entered the inner circle! One logistics supervisor favors men over women. Although this supervisor is at the same level as the other engineers and all work related to this function is assigned to you to plan and complete independently, the pay raise and bonus calculation base differ because of gender, creating an extremely unfair work environment.
