It’s rare for a general laborer position to have an air-conditioned work environment. However, the job involves making bread products (Taiwanese ice-and-fire pineapple buns).
1. The salary of NT$30,000 is tight.
2. The interview was very perfunctory: fill out some information, answer a few casual questions, take a quick look at the freezer and the weights normally handled (starting at 15 kg), and that was it.
3. You also have to choose a day to do a four-hour trial shift first (unpaid—what a rip-off).
4. The environment looks very bare-bones.
5. It’s extremely physically demanding.
