1. Very good at painting a rosy picture: everything they say during the interview sounds wonderful, but in reality there are all kinds of tasks that leave you unable to wrap things up. You are always working overtime, there is always unfinished work, and there is no overtime pay—in fact, the hours even exceed the limits stipulated by the Labor Standards Act. This allows you to gain a wealth of experience. Truly wonderful.

2. The supervisors are extremely good at shirking responsibility. When something happens, their first response is to push it onto their subordinates to distance themselves from blame, allowing you to learn how to shoulder responsibility. The company has such wonderful supervisors.

3. The company’s reimbursement process is absurdly complicated. Even a NT$10 pen has to go through reimbursement approval all the way to the chairman. Just getting through the process requires signatures from a huge number of supervisors. The upside is that you get to have plenty of nice chats with your supervisors—they are all very concerned about your family matters!

4. You are always paying out of pocket for the company, usually around NT$1,000 to NT$5,000, and sometimes even as much as NT$20,000 in a single month. The monthly salary is not much to begin with, yet you still have to constantly front money for the company. The company’s reimbursement process is also slow, allowing you to learn the spirit of enduring hardship and hard work. Absolutely amazing.

5. The company has a very high turnover rate and is always hiring, so as long as you dare to apply and come for an interview, you can almost always pass with a perfect score.

6. Every morning at 8:00, everyone has to gather on the first floor of the company and listen to the chairman recite various Confucian sayings. Current affairs and other topics are often mixed in as well. These motivational speeches can give you 100% energy to work all day. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.

Working at this company allows you to learn many of the advantages listed above. Since there are so many advantages, it is a company with practically no disadvantages.
