Pros

There really are none

Cons

If you have the opportunity to interview for an engineering position, please think twice.

You are very likely to be wasting unnecessary time.

EBC's HR is really quite incompetent.

When coordinating with the headhunter, they do not provide the contact information of the hiring manager.

You only find out when you arrive at the interview location:

Sorry, you can't get in.

The security guard will only tell you to contact the person you are meeting or the interviewer.

You will end up waiting there like an idiot.

Then the interview finally begins.

Even though you have already submitted your résumé,

they still ask you to fill out two densely packed A4 pages of application forms.

It is exhausting to write all of it, and it feels like they just want your personal information.

Unless you are truly desperate for this job,

it is recommended that you simply leave any fields you do not have to fill in blank.

Then, when asked about the computers provided by the company,

they will tell you, “Sorry, we are not a technology company.

We may not be able to provide very good equipment.”

If you bring your own equipment, the monthly subsidy is NT$1,000.

Truly hilarious.

Finally,

the response time is extremely slow.

In the end, they will even tell you that they are no longer hiring because a former employee has returned to work there.

Absolutely hilarious.

After reading the above, if you really have plenty of time

and do not mind wasting time or taking time off to attend the interview,

you can go and see for yourself.

But as mentioned earlier,

you are simply wasting your time.
