There is standard labor and health insurance, as well as overtime pay. If you have the patience to outwit the older employees, it can be a stable job.
The interview was originally for a position in the design department, but the boss said the engineering department was short-staffed and asked me to provide support there first. In reality, the job was not at all what had been discussed in the interview. The old company has a deeply entrenched seniority culture, and some longtime employees would openly say that new hires were specifically there to take the blame. After the longtime employees set you up, they may trick you by telling you to take unpaid leave, when in fact they are asking you to sign a voluntary resignation form.
In addition, there is no fixed time or percentage for salary adjustments; the boss only gives raises when it occurs to them.
