Leaving work on time
The office is on the first floor of the owner’s home, and he is accustomed to smoking indoors. The enclosed space is frequently filled with cigarette smoke, making it extremely uncomfortable to work there. The company has no systems in place and is not transparent. I was not informed when I joined that there was an attendance bonus, and it was never listed on my payslips, but NT$3,000 was deducted from my attendance bonus when I resigned. The office also does not provide the equipment needed for work; only after hiring you do they tell you to bring your own computer.
