Pros

The office has a newly renovated modern style. That’s all.

Cons

A company with a completely narrow-minded, frog-in-the-well perspective, full of unwritten rules.

They know perfectly well that the company is a traditional-industry business, so do they think that having a newly renovated office environment means they’re pursuing innovation and progress?

When a position can keep changing hands, shouldn’t you reflect on whether there’s a problem with your own internal management?

All you do is blindly assume that everyone else is the problem, saying that whoever worked here before didn’t like asking questions when they encountered problems. Have you ever considered that your teaching style makes it difficult for people to ask you questions? When they do ask, you just reply, “I don’t know” or “Go ask someone else.” So what’s the point of asking you? Who would want to ask you? Asking you won’t help anyway. This way of training new employees is truly eye-opening—and almost enough to give someone a third eye.

You explain only two or three sentences and then expect people to do the work, without even demonstrating the procedure. No wonder no one can get it done.

People with no experience are made to sound like idiots, while people with experience are criticized for not setting aside what they already know. Everything has to be done according to your opinions.

Do you really think your way of training people would work if someone were truly a blank slate? Stop dreaming.

The managers also love pretending to be magnanimous, but in reality they can’t listen to the truth. They make it sound nice by saying that employees can raise any problems, but once you do, they say you have too many opinions. No matter what happens, they’re never at fault; somehow, you’re always the one with the most problems.

And the company’s entire sales performance is being carried by only three or four salespeople, yet the sales staff don’t even receive performance bonuses. What a great company.

They tell you it’s fine to turn on the exhaust fan after using the bathroom, but you have to go back down and turn it off yourself five minutes later?

It’s hilarious. How poor can you be that you have to save electricity on an exhaust fan in a bathroom with no air circulation?

You’re also required to turn off your computer monitor when leaving your desk during the lunch break. If you don’t, you’ll get lectured?

Everyone even has to gather in the employee cafeteria to eat because the company owner is obsessive about cleanliness and thinks eating at your desk will cause pests to breed.

The company says that it has 5S, so everyone must conserve energy by turning off power sources when not in use. Yet when asked whether the company sorts its garbage, they say it doesn’t, because if recyclables are thrown away without being rinsed, mosquitoes and other insects will breed.

Aren’t you supposedly good at setting rules and managing people? Why not require your employees to rinse things properly before throwing them away, instead of refusing to sort recyclables and help protect the planet just to satisfy your obsession with cleanliness? And then you talk about conserving energy. Two words: ridiculous!

Right before the end of the workday, they simply tell you that you’ve been FIRED and instruct you to pack up your belongings and leave. They don’t give you much of a reason—just that the company feels you aren’t a good fit. It’s not even because you did anything wrong at work; they just tell you to sign a resignation form and leave.
