The supervisor does not put any particular pressure on you and is a very nice person.
I was hired as a quality assurance engineer, but in reality, I am a quality assurance assistant. Above me, there is only one deputy manager and one section chief…
Besides incoming inspection, I usually also have to inspect some firing-pin seats, and even engraving identification numbers can end up being your responsibility… When a workpiece is defective, the supervisor may not believe you and will speak up for the vendor, constantly questioning your measurement results……… Then you have to notify the vendor yourself. It is really enough.
Engineering changes here are also handled by issuing an item abnormality report… And there is Excel—you have to key everything into Excel. Everything is handled with an item abnormality report, so you can imagine that after finishing a whole pile of tasks, your desk will be covered with abnormality reports waiting for you to key them in.
The company claims on 104 Job Bank that the workplace atmosphere is harmonious, but you cannot feel that at all. You only hear very loud noises. The internal hierarchy is chaotic: the Administration Department handles procurement, warehouse management, and personnel, with only one woman handling personnel. The company headquarters is in Taipei.
You should really think twice before joining this company for this position.
