After submitting my résumé and receiving a notification from 104
I asked the recruiter through 104:
The company name, the hiring manager’s title, and the salary range for the position
Instead, I received a phone call with a bunch of questions,
and was only given the company name.
For the rest of the call, I was asked to explain this and that.
After I answered everything,
I only realized after hanging up that I had forgotten to tell her that the company was also hiring for this position, which I had applied for a few days ago but never heard back from.
So I sent her a message through 104 to tell her about it,
and asked her to directly ask the manager whether they wanted to interview me.
I also added that the fact that the company had not given her the manager’s title did not mean that I could not know it before agreeing to an interview.
Even if some people consider this unimportant,
it is at least “basic relevant” information about the position.
I explained to her why I was asking, but asked her not to tell the manager the reason;
there was no need to explain so much.
Then I received a message saying that the manager did not want to interview me.
So why didn’t she just ask the company at the beginning and then tell me the company name and the manager’s title directly through 104?
She wasted so much of my time making me explain all that.
