Applied for an administrative position

The consultant was extremely unprofessional.

My previous job was not administrative, but I applied for an administrative position,

yet she kept asking me questions about my previous job.

She only asked the questions she wanted to ask,

rather than the questions that should be asked for an administrative position.

For example: “You previously worked for an American company. What do you think you learned the most?”

My previous job at the American company was not administrative,

so what I learned the most had nothing to do with administration.

Interviews abroad all teach people to answer in the direction of the position they are applying for.

How was I supposed to answer in an administrative direction?

I briefly glossed over it because I did not want to say too much,

but she instead criticized me, saying that my interview performance was perfunctory and that I was unsuitable to proceed to a second-round interview.

Clearly, her own skills in asking interview questions need improvement.

Clearly, her ability to understand suitable answers from candidates needs improvement.
