Applying for a product manager position

- Before the interview, I used 104 messages to ask about the salary range, the supervisor’s title, and how the supervisor distributes work among multiple PMs.

The HR representative said they would answer my questions during the interview.

I said I needed to understand these things first before deciding whether to attend the interview,

and hoped they would reconsider answering in advance.

The HR representative then replied, “Thank you. Wishing you safety and all the best.”

The supervisor was unwilling to provide a salary range.

Based on my experience, Taiwanese companies that do not provide a salary range

usually give you a single offer after the interview, directly at the lowest point of your expected salary range,

or, even worse, negotiate down from that lowest point.

They only respect senior-level and engineering positions;

only these two types of positions are open to negotiation.

So there is no need to attend the interview and let them learn from your experience while wasting your time.
