Meals are provided. The kitchen prepares lunch, while dinner is ordered for delivery with a price limit (e.g., $50–65).
Caution ⚠️ This is a family-run company, and the work atmosphere is extremely, extremely, extremely poor.
1. Upon joining, you are immediately told that the senior employees assigned to train you will be leaving soon, giving the impression that they are simply trying to find someone to take over. The company uses a clock-in system for starting work but expects employees to take responsibility for finishing work without overtime pay. New employees are deliberately kept late to do pointless tasks (e.g., the official end time is 6:00 p.m., but I was required to organize past years’ order records by printing them out one by one and binding them into booklets, only to be told afterward to burn them once finished. I left work at 9:30 p.m. that day.)
2. There are no normal meal or rest breaks. You have to eat the provided meal while working, and during this time, supervisors continue watching nearby, which creates a lot of pressure (for example, monitoring how slowly you eat or how much food you serve yourself).
3. One person is expected to do the work of three. One salary for three jobs, with no limit to additional duties. Only people with a high tolerance for being exploited are advised to apply.
4. Employees are dismissed without cause and are not given any documents to sign regarding involuntary termination or resignation. The company later tells other employees that the person resigned voluntarily and attempts to delay salary payments on payday.
5. The office is filled with surveillance cameras covering various angles and equipped with audio-monitoring functions. Although this could be interpreted as being intended to prevent the disclosure of confidential company information, it still feels somewhat strange.
6. The supervisors are skilled at sowing discord and creating an atmosphere and work environment of resentment and mutual suspicion.
7. Employees’ restroom breaks are closely monitored in terms of both duration and frequency, and warnings are issued.
