唐之律股份有限公司
Pros

Punctual working hours, no overtime, and salaries are always paid on time. It is a family business with a strong sense of personal connection, and its technology is definitely ahead of its peers.

You can genuinely learn about speaker drivers. The engineers in China are highly professional and have worked alongside the boss for more than 20 years.

Business development is not based on the ability of the businessperson themselves, but on whether the boss’s family likes the client. If you are applying for a business development role, I think it is more effective to view yourself as a BD (Business Development) professional. Most family businesses are fundamentally governed by personal relationships, so learning how senior management thinks can help you improve very quickly.

Cons

It is not exactly a drawback, but when working here, knowing how to read the situation is the key to survival. Aside from senior management, who are family members, the long-serving clerical staff are the real bosses. If you upset the senior sales assistant surnamed Lin in Taipei, she may throw a quotation onto your desk or onto the floor and make you pick it up yourself, or raise her voice at you for no reason. Sales staff must prepare their own quotations; the senior sales assistant will not help. The family executives do not intervene, after all, because that sales assistant has a degree of irreplaceability. If you spend enough time with these senior employees and build a good relationship, they will help you mobilize resources—because, ultimately, this is a relationship-based organization.
