Brand recognition; otherwise, nothing.
The company wants to leverage its brand recognition to develop biotechnology and an e-commerce platform.
The interviewer was extremely disrespectful. They asked me to introduce myself, but immediately interrupted after every sentence to ask questions completely unrelated to what I was explaining. After that, they started describing how great the company was and how many aspects could be managed to make the work more convenient.
In the end, they notified me that I was not hired, but then called a month later to say that I had been hired.
Ultimately, it was simply because they were in a hurry to fill the position, so anyone who seemed likely to stay for a long time was acceptable.
Their methods of retaining employees are extremely poor!
