You get to gain exposure to the clothing brand industry.
Also, the employee meals are actually pretty tasty.
This position is for graphic design :)
The boss berates people without distinguishing right from wrong.
If he likes you, he treats you politely.
If he doesn’t like you, he targets you.
At the beginning, he made it clear that he didn’t want anyone to brush him off and that we should be honest.
But when you are honest, he says you are making excuses.
When you honestly express your own opinion (and it is supported by evidence),
he says you have no idea what you’re talking about and says you don’t understand anything.
In the end, you really are just placating him—there’s no such thing as honestly expressing yourself.
There have already been plenty of complaints above.
I’ll skip straight to the part about leaving the company.
I was fired :)
In theory, I should have received a certificate of involuntary separation and severance pay.
But the HR representative (?Her work seemed to cover a lot of miscellaneous things, and I don’t even know what her actual position was) only gave me an “Employee Resignation Application.” It was obviously wrong as soon as I saw it :)
It wasn’t as if I had resigned voluntarily. In the end, she said she would give me the certificate of involuntary separation the following week, and that my severance pay and that month’s salary would be transferred to me later. I left the company that day, forced to leave without receiving any documents. Now I’m passively waiting for them to notify me to go back and collect the documents. Personally, I’ll still call to follow up and urge them to handle it.
Let’s continue watching and see whether they really are the “legitimate company” they claim to be!
One more thing: I know a little AutoCAD and SketchUp, but I hadn’t used them for a long time and was a bit rusty. The boss urgently needed the information and kept saying, “Oh, so you just can’t do it! If you can’t, just be honest and say so.” I... Should I have simply left my seat right then and said, “Yes! I can’t do it,” and then gone to another computer to work on the “graphic design” stuff?
