The interviewer seemed to think that I was young and inexperienced, and offered me a position at a department store in Xinyi District, repeatedly emphasizing how easy it would be. The monthly working hours were 288. Fortunately, I had some idea of what it would be like—how could working at a department store be easy? So I didn’t take the job.
