美樂啤酒股份有限公司
Pros

1. You can learn a lot because, essentially, one person is used as several. Marketing and sales are basically part of the same thing: “When you approach this task from a marketing perspective, you are marketing; when you approach it from a sales perspective, you are treating yourself as a salesperson.” This is a very thought-provoking statement.

2. Your ability to withstand pressure improves significantly. After three years, squatting 150 kg is not a dream.

3. The boss does not like employees working overtime; it’s just that everyone’s workload is somewhat inconsistent with the boss’s ideals.

4. The year-end bonus is stable: one month’s salary regardless of whether the company makes money.

Cons

1. Employees who are about to resign are either verbally bullied or treated as if they were invisible. Even if you are sitting right next to the boss, the boss will still talk to the person next to you and ask that person to relay the message to you.

2. If the company cannot sell products nearing their expiration date, employees are expected to pay for and absorb the cost themselves.

3. Everyone in the company is a genuine local Taiwanese person, yet they sometimes like to use English when communicating with one another. Using English would not be a problem, except that some people in the company cannot understand it. They then have to ask employees who know English to translate it for those who do not, needlessly increasing other people’s workloads.

4. Senior managers at the company speak ill of different people in front of their subordinates. They complain to subordinate A about subordinate B, then go to subordinate B and bad-mouth subordinate A.

If someone from a well-off family is considering joining to give it a try, here is some advice: the boss prefers employees who have families and ordinary financial backgrounds, because they will be constrained by financial pressure and afraid to resign easily. No matter how they are exploited, they can continue working in silence without saying a word.

In summary, this company is especially suitable for people who: 1. do not want a high salary; 2. are somewhat submissive; 3. enjoy challenges; 4. feel at a loss in life.
