Some senior employees are extremely good at slacking off, so you need to be careful around them. Not only do they not teach others, they even mock you for not knowing anything. As if not knowing how to teach weren’t enough, they also put on an act as though they know everything. In the end, you discover that the senior employee only has a superficial understanding too. If you ask her, she’ll even snap at you and say, "That’s how my seniors taught me before." So it feels like she was bullied in the past and now thinks bullying you is only fair. Senior employees also abuse their greater seniority or knowledge to act superior. They clearly understand but pretend not to and refuse to teach; they clearly know how but pretend they don’t and refuse to do the work. On top of that, they make random sarcastic remarks. A complete nightmare.
