The people who conducted the interview were quite friendly.

The owner's and his wife's attitudes were terrible, especially when they scribbled all over my résumé with a pen. It was extremely disrespectful toward the interviewee's experience.

I once took a national examination, and the owner's wife said dismissively, "Oh, so you just memorize the laws!" She must have forgotten that, for some national examinations, some people aren't even academically qualified to apply in the first place.^_^

When the owner learned that my family is engaged in manufacturing, his attitude changed drastically. He kept criticizing my family's industry and business model, constantly emphasizing how international-minded he was and how unusual his experience was. He even said to me, "Working outside isn't like staying at home and being pampered."

I could only laugh and say, "I definitely haven't been pampered." If I really had been pampered, why would I come interview at your company? ^_^

I was dumbfounded by this couple's absurd values and just wanted to leave the company as quickly as possible.

All I can say is, working under an employer who doesn't understand what it means to respect people makes me wonder what there is to learn.
