The company is located in a remote area. After receiving a notification from their HR department to attend an interview, I spoke with a supervisor and learned that it was for a new position. The job description was difficult to define. I had previously interviewed for a different position, but they did not hire me. This time, their supervisor believed that my work experience should qualify me for this role. The job discussed during the interview was not a typical product engineering position but one that had been separately defined. The interviewer asked me to consider it and then respond to their HR supervisor. Three days later, the HR supervisor called to say that I was not suitable for the position. If I was unsuitable, why ask me to come for an interview in the first place? It left me feeling very disappointed.

Pay attention to which position they are contacting you about for an interview, so you do not get misled into attending another interview and wasting your time. More importantly, I drove 130 kilometers round trip.
