The interview location was at a shared office center at the intersection of Zhongxiao East Road and Keelung Road in Taipei City. I had to fill out a standard résumé form and take an aptitude test, in addition to signing an “interview confidentiality clause prohibiting audio or video recording.” This was the first time I had ever encountered an interview requiring me to sign such a document. The interview questions were extremely challenging: During product development, for a new brand and a new product, you don’t know the production cost or unique features, you don’t know the marketing budget, you set the product price yourself, determine the gross margin yourself, and determine the net margin yourself. Please explain how you would operate the brand and sell this product. What annual revenue could be achieved? After hearing all this, my face was full of question marks, and my mind was filled with exclamation marks! After only a few words, the interviewer directly said: “We won’t be moving forward. Take care…” I hope all the esteemed people considering applying for an interview will, out of goodwill, go see the employer’s lofty attitude and dismissive manner, and also help me solve this strange interview question—thank you!
