General Manager Lai personally conducted the interview
They called as if they were desperately short-staffed, saying that your résumé was a great fit for the company and emphasizing how good the company benefits were, with the annual salary totaling more than 16 months’ pay. The Nangang office did not appear to have many employees. During the interview, the General Manager kept talking; it did not feel like an interview, but rather like listening to him sing the company’s praises and boast about how much better its salary and benefits were than those in the industry. They did not ask what problem-solving abilities you could bring to the company. After the interview, there was no further communication. When you follow up with HR, they only send canned responses saying that there are no suitable positions for you. We are certified professionals applying for relevant positions. If you are going to notify someone about an interview, you should review their qualifications carefully; you could also ask over the phone instead of wasting everyone’s time.
