The boss is very good at talking and extremely good at painting an overly rosy picture.
A typical salesperson’s spiel.
The job duties discussed during the interview were completely different from the actual job.
The position advertised was fashion designer, but after joining, it became sales assistant, and eventually your duties kept increasing until you were doing several jobs at once...
There are often rush orders: “Give it to me immediately; you’ll have to do it after work...”
The boss loves making delivery-date promises to clients recklessly...
Even though the production capacity clearly isn’t sufficient..., when clients complain and get angry, the employees are always pushed forward to deal with it..., even though the employees were not the ones who made the promises... Speechless.
What the boss says most often is, “Go ask so-and-so.”
Then when the senior employees are asked, they are extremely impatient.
If there’s no information, what else can you do besides asking?
Unless you’re a brave adventurer, you really don’t need to waste your time.
