The work environment is good, with a very Western-style management approach and flexible working hours. They are willing to give you the freedom to take on all kinds of challenges. The company is not large, but the environment is comfortable and stylish. The products are also very good and can make you appreciate the company’s own products.
Employees are treated as all-purpose workers, with no reasonable planning of job responsibilities. To put it nicely, the company claims to adopt a Western-style management approach and create the brand together with employees, but in reality there is no strategic planning at all. The effort expected from employees is completely disproportionate to the salary. Work content is arranged unreasonably, and projects are continually and unreasonably assigned to test your abilities. If your performance fails to meet your supervisor’s expectations—or, to put it bluntly, if they decide to make things difficult for you—you will feel that employees are neither respected nor trusted.
In addition, the supervisor’s expectations and performance standards are difficult to grasp. Put directly, they are difficult to deal with, indecisive, and unclear when making decisions or giving instructions. Everything is done and decided according to the supervisor’s personal sense of aesthetics. In the end, even the work completed by the supervisor does not meet the standards they set themselves, leaving employees confused. Before joining, it is recommended that you adjust your mindset to that of serving an imperial consort and treat the job as volunteer work.
The above reflects my personal opinions and applies only to some positions at the company.
