Cons

The company mainly focuses on web projects for outsourced brand campaigns, while also operating a pet snack brand.

The structure is somewhat like a family business, and the job also includes doing design work for the family business.

During interviews, the boss presents themself as being open to accepting candidates without experience or beginners, and may even proactively offer you a high salary and title.

However, after you join, they expect you to transform into a Super Saiyan immediately.

They only forward client emails directly to you and do not help coordinate or communicate with clients.

Because the boss has no professional design expertise, they reject design drafts without explaining why.

They also do not give you time to gain an understanding of the client’s brand style.

They say you can freely plan project schedules, but will explode whenever something they want you to do is not handled immediately.

There is currently a senior designer working remotely, so after joining, although the position is nominally design, you will actually mostly be slicing layouts and doing the work of a front-end engineer.

The boss comes from a cybersecurity background. Internet usage is monitored, and current employees may also be asked to secretly observe you.

However, none of this is disclosed in advance; it is only brought up during reviews to question your character and work attitude.

The entire review process consists of one-sided emotional venting and personal degradation—the boss seems unwilling to stop until they make you cry.

They then demote you and cut your pay on the grounds of insufficient ability, which is quite characteristic of PUA tactics.

Front-end engineers who are good at slicing layouts are advised to apply for the company’s design position; they may find it a much better fit.
