The weekly Wednesday afternoon exercise session! The boss really likes running marathons, so they place a lot of importance on exercise. This is the only benefit; the boss also buys classes at the Shilin Sports Center for employees to use.
Coworkers are not allowed to chat or listen to music at work, so the entire workplace atmosphere is dull and lifeless. It is extremely tense; even when Line rings and you want to check a message, it feels like you are doing something wrong and are not allowed to look. Then there are a bunch of senior employees who pull rank—what they can do, others cannot. In short, working there feels like living in the 1970s... miserable, isolated from the outside world, excluded and mocked. The boss even thinks this is healthy competition.
