Pros

Everyone is very nice, including the supervisors. The working atmosphere is harmonious overall. People often treat each other to drinks, and department gatherings are frequently organized whenever there is an opportunity.

Cons

There are too many product bugs. Because of this, clients often require us to work overtime; during the busiest periods, we might not get to rest until the morning.

The interference from the professional team is excessive. Consultants’ business-trip requests must be reported one day in advance. If a client urgently requests that a consultant go on-site that same day, the consultant may still be reprimanded, and you are required to complete the process before being allowed to leave.

Sales documents also need to be reviewed before they can be submitted to the general manager. There is no problem with that in principle, but the issue is that the reviewers do not understand the documents at all and merely go through the motions. When discussing the documents with the general manager, they even blame the sales staff for not explaining them, making upper management think that employees at lower levels do not communicate with one another...

There are no standardized policies:

The company uses mobile-phone GPS location for clocking in. You can clock in when you are near the company, but the system often does not provide any notice when the clock-in policy is changed, such as changes to the time periods or clock-in range.

Illogical rules: Many people work overtime until very late—returning home at 10 p.m. or even after midnight—and usually report that they will take compensatory leave the next day.

However, if you merely oversleep occasionally and report it immediately after waking up, you may still be reprimanded and asked why you did not report it earlier. The company does not allow people to claim compensatory leave this way, and there are many similar incidents.

(O.S. Well, I accidentally overslept—how was I supposed to report it? = =)

The company is very busy toward the end of the year. Basically, the supervisor works every single day of the year—365 days. It is hard work, QQ.

Therefore, employees are allowed to accumulate leave and take a month off at once.

The year-end banquet is quite simple, and there is usually little to no year-end bonus.

Bonuses will be bid farewell for various reasons~~

The company requires all kinds of performance evaluations, but these evaluations generally do not help you receive a bonus.

In summary, the company does not usually actively ask you to resign. If you work steadily, it is tolerable, but you need to be prepared to work unpaid overtime. As for things like professional growth, salary adjustments, and promotion opportunities... do not expect them, because this is a mainland Chinese-funded company and it generally gives preference to mainland Chinese employees.
