The office is quite nice, and the HR staff are also very polite.
The interview starts with a personality test. After completing it, there is a professional written exam. The written exam questions (C language) are fairly easy and are written in Chinese.
There are around nine or ten questions, and you are given 30 minutes to complete them. After the exam, two interviewers come in and start by asking some basic questions, mostly things like why you wanted to choose this position.
One of them, a somewhat overweight senior interviewer, kept criticizing your views about startups (for example, an energetic atmosphere), which made the interview feel extremely oppressive. He kept comparing large companies with startups, saying that startups would eventually grow into large companies and using that to rationalize a dull, lifeless atmosphere. (Am I interviewing with a large company or a startup?)
The other interviewer, who had very thin eyebrows, kept asking questions unrelated to the position. (At one point, I wondered whether I was actually interviewing for an IoT position.)
Overall, it was an interview designed to make you feel extremely pressured. Even if I had been hired, I would not have gone. Fortunately, I was not hired.
