Inside the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park building
1. They simply created a subsidiary called K樂時代; in practice, it still follows the Taiwan Mobile corporate system.
2. They ask people to come for interviews without doing any preparation, and spend the entire time asking them to share experiences from their previous companies.
What is this? Did you ask me to come to a study-sharing session? It is obvious that they just want to find people to generate business and poach industry experience.
3. One of the interviewers kept handling work on a laptop. What the hell? If you are busy, then do not conduct interviews.
If you are going to interview someone, do not be busy with other things. You do not even understand basic courtesy toward job applicants. I do not know how pleasant it would be to work there...
4. A major interview taboo: they did not even provide a glass of water (WTF??
5. They did not even reserve a meeting room for the interview; they conducted it directly outside, next to the pantry.
That was not even the worst of it: a bunch of random passersby were secretly listening in nearby during the interview. The whole thing was inexplicable.
Throughout the interview, a bunch of passersby were watching you. It felt unbelievably damn uncomfortable.
When I asked the interviewer whether we could move somewhere else for the interview, they actually told me they could not get a meeting room........ I was completely dumbfounded.
6. As for the Taiwan Mobile experience next door, some of the managers there have experience that is quite behind the industry standard.
But they are the ones who set performance evaluations and that year's targets, so anyone who wants to go should think it through carefully.
Finally, the company still has a bunch of outsourced workers and interns, and its working style remains bureaucratic and system-bound.
If you want to go, remember to negotiate the salary properly.
