I resigned after working at this company for three months. The reasons are as follows:

1. I discovered that the boss was underreporting employees’ labor and health insurance wages by declaring the minimum insurable salary. When I raised this with the company, the boss and his wife responded with an attitude suggesting that many companies do this and that they had not treated their employees unfairly. Furthermore, the company employs foreign workers. After I raised the labor and health insurance issue with the company, the boss’s wife said that, because they were foreign employees, they should not care about this, and that they might not stay in Taiwan permanently anyway. The boss and his wife have two children of their own, so I really wanted to ask: if their own children’s labor and health insurance wages were underreported, would they still have such a nonchalant attitude?

2. The company has been operating for more than 20 years, but currently has no more than 10 employees. The boss and his wife run the company as though it were their own household, ordering employees around to run errands. If you are considering trying the textile industry, I genuinely recommend that you do not come to this company.

3. After resigning, I asked the company to pay the shortfall in my labor pension contributions. The boss’s wife insisted that I sign a contract guaranteeing both parties’ rights before she would transfer the money. I told her directly that I would not sign any agreement, and that if I did not receive the payment by the deadline, I would report the company. The company may have been worried about being fined, so they tried every possible way to contact me. They even used the employee information I had provided previously to come to my residence and call my family, harassing them.

Everyone, this really is not a good company. Do not join and end up wasting your youth and time.
