Hosting and entertaining American guests
A run-down ironworks factory, like an old ox dragging a cart, barely keeping going. Inside, there are only a few people with no specialized skills who cannot leave and can only cling to the elderly owner: an accountant, a production-line supervisor, a maintenance supervisor, and a female draftsman, all sitting around drawing high salaries.
The production line is managed by a slow-witted old man. The longtime accountant cannot even do the books and spends money on outsourcing.
Every year, the elderly owner is made to consult feng shui and change things around. Even in the corrugated-metal office, incense is burned morning and night. The atmosphere is extremely frightening.
A frail domestic sales employee will curry favor with you and speak ill of the higher-ups or the longtime accountant, then immediately turn around and harm you.
They have an ERP system but do not use it; production-management scheduling is done manually. The longtime accountant is the administrator. If she entered one fewer zero in the accounts, would anyone even know?
Any job in Central Taiwan Science Park would be better than this.
