Pros

1. Flexible working hours

2. Flexible start and finish times; you set your own lunch break

3. You can leave on time, and there is no culture of overtime

4. Good relationships among colleagues

5. Few employees, so decisions are made quickly

Cons

1. No overtime pay (officially, they say you can apply for it, but the boss will negotiate compensatory leave with employees)

2. No HR system whatsoever. You have to keep track of your own salary, leave, and compensatory leave; if you do not keep records, you are the one who loses out

3. It is a position of responsibility, so even on holidays, late at night, or during annual leave, the boss will constantly message and tag employees (basically, everyone is expected to take their laptop with them when they go on vacation)

4. No bonuses for the three major holidays, only gifts for those holidays (provided when the boss's wife happens to remember). Year-end bonuses are paid only if there are profits, but no one has received one so far

5. Salaries are paid on schedule most of the time. Occasionally, the boss's wife forgets; salary statements are provided only when she happens to remember, otherwise employees have to ask for them

6. The boss and his wife often have differing opinions and argue in front of employees. Everything has to be approved by both of them, so things are frequently changed over and over

7. You are required to use your own laptop for work

8. You will be required to join a bunch of LINE groups (definitely more than 20)

9. The boss is childish and slick-talking. He makes jokes about employees' bodies, is very good at making grand promises, and often asks employees to “help out” with tasks without compensation. He frequently goes back on what he has said, then pretends not to know what you are talking about and says he never said it (be sure to record anything related to employee rights as evidence)

10. The company has no comprehensive systems or policies; even when it does introduce something, it loses interest after three minutes. Overall, it feels like playing house

11. After joining, you will have to download a bunch of work-related tool apps
