Applied for Sales Assistant
1. Right at the beginning, they directly explained that this job regularly requires overtime: until 8 p.m. from Monday to Wednesday, and until 10 p.m. on Thursday and Friday. It was like giving me a heads-up in advance.
2. When asked about the salary, the interviewer stated that overtime after 6:30 p.m. is paid by the minute. I guess this may be one reason employees stay for a long time—their identification with the company and hard work are rewarded accordingly.
3. Although I had already stated that I could not work overtime, the interviewer still introduced the company and the job responsibilities to me, and also let me ask questions and clarified my concerns.
1. I would suggest that your company provide a clearer description on the recruitment website, such as the job responsibilities and the fact that regular overtime is required. This might reduce the time spent going back and forth.
