Applied for an after-school care teacher position / evening shifts require rotating shifts
I received an interview notification via an internal message on a job bank for an after-school care teacher position at HESS Educational Organization Wanhua Office _ Yang Xue Co., Ltd., and I immediately confirmed my reply.
At the site, I filled out a standard résumé form containing questions on Mandarin, natural science, and mathematics. The form asked me to check boxes regarding basic personal information, personality traits, and physical health status. The fields stated that the information could be withheld (after all, the Personal Data Protection Act has been implemented), so it was indeed possible not to provide this personal information. Moreover, I had not been formally hired or reported for duty yet, so in the end I filled out only the sections I was willing to disclose.
The interview process was also very perfunctory: they asked about my expected salary and explained the basic system, then it ended!
I am not sure whether HESS Educational Organization has differences between directly operated and franchised locations; the exterior signs all display the HESS name.
After the integration of early childhood education and care, the qualification review for teachers seems to have become stricter, requiring teaching certification, yet the compensation is only this much. Working hours may also routinely exceed the scheduled hours (under a responsibility-based system). Employment at this company should be carefully reviewed and evaluated.
