During the interview, the supervisor seemed very friendly.
The more they talked later, the more they revealed their true colors. They started saying that I had limited experience and didn't know how to do anything, then gave me a guarantee and consent form to take home and sign. They asked, “You live in Tucheng, right? You should look at department-store packaging more often instead of hiding at home all day. There’s nothing in Tucheng.” After listening to me describe a previous work experience—at a company in Xindian, I had traveled to mainland China for work and visited around ten cities—the supervisor said, “Wow, you’ve been to more places than I have.” Seriously, a little knowledge makes a lot of noise—they really looked down on people.
