Cons
1. The company environment is very bad and extremely noisy. Besides employees and the boss liking to shout, machines such as the printer are unbearably loud as well.
2. Employees are not allowed to wear headphones, but they are allowed to play broadcasts.
3. There are absolutely no benefits, and typhoon days are unpaid.
4. The marketing director does absolutely no work—basically, they neither manage nor do anything, and they also like to gossip about people behind their backs.
5. There is only one microwave shared by the entire company, so you have to wait ages just to eat.
6. Management is entirely based on personal whims. If the general manager does not like you, they will do everything possible to make things difficult for you and cause you trouble.
7. The general manager is narrow-minded, lives in their own world, and is self-righteous. They also speak very unpleasantly.
8. Everything is done on paper, and no one has a habit of sending emails. Even getting a company email account takes a very long time.
9. Senior employees like to throw their weight around because of their seniority.
10. Weekly meetings are a waste of time, consisting of meaningless matters. They are meetings where taking notes is completely unnecessary.
11. They like to put employees in unsuitable positions. For example: asking all employees to go to the warehouse to take inventory or handle shipping; asking them to work as department-store sales staff to support an anniversary sale; or asking marketing staff to go with sales representatives to visit stores and make sales pitches?
12. There is very little room to make an impact, and no budget is provided, so it is impossible to carry out any marketing projects.
13. There are no marketing professionals at all, and the boss is not one either.
14. One person may be required to manage many brands, making it impossible to focus on any one of them.
15. You have to serve as the person on duty.
16. The general manager has extreme distrust of employees and spends all day suspecting this and that.
Conclusion: It has all the shortcomings of a Taiwanese-owned company and a family business. Think twice before going!!
