Pros

1. Sometimes colleagues bring their dogs or cats to work, which is a small source of healing amid the busyness.

2. Employee purchases are available in even-numbered months. If your pet eats brands carried by the company, the discount is fairly good; otherwise, the discount may not mean much to you.

3. Most colleagues are quite friendly and will provide assistance when you raise questions.

Cons

Actually, the issues mentioned by previous employees in the earlier posts still occur to this day ^^.

Here are the situations I have encountered:

1. The turnover rate is extremely high. People are constantly joining and leaving the office LINE group (I saw approximately 15 people leave over six months). Many people resign quietly, and new hires often leave after working only a few days.

2. During the interview, they make it sound as though overtime pay is available, but in reality it requires ''the supervisor's approval.'' Most people work overtime every day as an obligation. I have rarely seen anyone leave on time, and no one really dares to request overtime pay.

3. The office is very quiet, and chatting or talking during working hours is prohibited because, supposedly, the BOSS will get angry (?).

4. LINE cannot be installed on company computers (presumably to prevent employees from responding to private messages during work hours). Most work-related communication is done by phone or Skype, unless your position requires LINE to be installed.

5. There is no year-end bonus. They make it sound as though the one-month year-end bonus is distributed over 12 months as quarterly bonuses. The KPI bonuses for January, February, and March can only be collected in June, and so on. In other words, if you resign early, you get nothing, because the KPI will be evaluated, and even after working for a full year, there is a very high chance that the actual amount received will be less than one month's salary.

6. There are no ''actual'' holiday bonuses for the three major festivals. Instead, the amount is deducted as employee-purchase credit. If you do not make employee purchases, you do not receive any holiday bonus.

7. If you are late by more than 30 minutes in a month, you lose the NT$1,000 perfect-attendance bonus. In reality, this is a deduction from your own salary. For example, if the salary discussed during the interview is 3XK, it is actually 3XK + 1K, meaning that taking a day off costs you not only that day's pay but also an additional 1K.

8. The workload is heavy, and there are often unexpected add-on tasks. These cannot be allowed to affect your work progress. Basically, you need to be extremely durable and highly stress-resistant. Those who can handle it do continue working there.

9. Regardless of your position, you are required to attend pet expos and work as a salesperson (for expos outside your county or city, accommodation and transportation expenses are provided; if it is in Taipei, you pay your own transportation costs). If you are lucky enough to be assigned as office staff on standby, you can PASS.

As mentioned above, those who can handle it will continue working there, and the company does not seem to care much about its high turnover rate. If you are considering joining the company, I recommend not being too modest when stating your salary expectations—it will definitely be much busier than you imagine.
