Applied for a graphic design position. The explanation of the job responsibilities was clear and specific, with no ambiguity. The work also included cooking dishes on an induction cooker for photography, plating them, designing backgrounds for photo settings, and so on, in order to shoot situational photos for catalogs. It also required regular business trips to stores in various areas to design and arrange window displays.
The interviewer’s tone was somewhat self-important. My previous company was also a well-known major company in southern Taiwan, although it was in a completely different industry. From start to finish, the interviewer used a disparaging tone to judge my previous job (because I was asked to briefly describe aspects related to it). It was as if HeySong were the only truly impressive company in all of Tainan.
