1. Even though the position was advertised as being in Taipei City, they asked me to travel all the way to Shulin for the interview. The location was remote, and they did not inform me in advance that there was a slope to climb. Anyone wearing very formal clothing or high heels would be in trouble and arrive drenched in sweat.
2. I still do not know who the interviewer was. When I entered, they did not say their job title or name.
3. The day after the interview, I was notified that I had passed. I replied the next day saying that I could report for work, but unexpectedly, HR immediately replied that because I had responded too slowly, they had already asked someone else to start work.
Do they think job seekers are idiots?! This was extremely disrespectful. They did not even make a phone call to inform me that I had been hired; just because I replied a day late, they immediately said they had already asked someone else to start work. Actually, I am somewhat relieved that I was not hired, because the pay was very low and I would also have had to take inventory every day. No wonder no one there wanted to be promoted to store manager.
