The pay is very generous.
Overtime is paid.
There are annual leave, sick leave, and personal leave.
The manager is a pretty good person, but loses their temper very easily (they lash out and scold people at the slightest thing).
The colleagues are all nice.
The workload is heavy, and there is overtime almost every day (officially, the workday ends at 6 p.m., but leaving between 7 and 11 p.m. is possible); staff are also scheduled to work on holidays to reply to messages.
The owner’s parents are extremely unpleasant (especially the mother).
The products are from mainland Chinese brands and manufactured in mainland China. The quality is really not OK, resulting in a large number of customer complaints.
When asking the head office questions, it takes a very long time to receive a response (at least 2–3 days, or there is no response at all), so messages are easily missed.
The job requires using Chinese apps, raising concerns that data may be stolen by the Chinese government.
At the Zhongli office, it is very inconvenient to go out during lunch or when arriving at or leaving work; someone inside the office or the owner’s parents must open the door.
