The interview location was at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station, which was convenient for transportation.

There were two interviews and one phone invitation.

The first interview was at the San Want Hotel with an Israeli man. There were no professional questions during the interview (he asked whether I was married and said this was important). He also distractedly replied to text messages. When I finally left, I noticed that his eyes remained fixed on my buttocks as he watched me leave. This Israeli man later dated Lai Chien-ho and was subsequently reported in negative news.

The second interview was for this company’s puzzle-promotion position. I passed the initial interview, which lasted about 30 minutes. The HR representative did not look at my résumé and did not speak English. There were also no professional questions. I heard that the second interview would involve role-playing, so I decided not to participate.

The third was a phone invitation to an interview. When the HR representative called, she did not say which company she was calling from. She immediately said, “You applied for a position at our company.” I politely asked her, “May I ask which company you are from?” Her tone was extremely unfriendly. She told me to go to the company for an interview at 11:30 the next morning. I later asked whether it would be convenient for her to send me an email, and the HR representative immediately said, “No need!”
