台灣雙葉電子股份有限公司
Pros

1. When the product was first developed and put into mass production, I felt that the senior employees cared about my work after I joined the company. They also helped with questions I raised. Even if my abilities were insufficient, I could still get started and gradually learn.

2. During my time there, I took on challenges in new business areas arranged by the company and learned Japanese to approximately JLPT N2 level. There were Japanese people around me, and I often interacted with Japanese vendors, which allowed me to learn Japanese-style work practices and the language. This helped broaden my perspective.

3. Within the company, there were opportunities to adjust job types and work responsibilities. Overall, the flexibility was quite high.

4. The company was relatively stable and law-abiding, which gave employees greater peace of mind.

Cons

1. The company’s overall systems were established during its heyday around 2000. Related computer ERP systems and other infrastructure are outdated, and there is still a great deal of manual work, making it difficult to keep up with the times. Some departments have made improvements, but manufacturing-related operations are still stuck in the past.

2. The company’s senior management in Taiwan consists mostly of long-serving employees who do not continue learning and often talk about things from 20 years ago, making them seem out of touch with the times. I recommend hiring outstanding external talent to replace mid- and senior-level management, or engaging a consulting firm to improve the company as a whole.
