1. The boss has a very poor attitude.
2. HR used their phone during the interview.
3. The job bank listing stated “salary negotiable,” but the salary range disclosed during the interview was below NT$40,000. If you cannot afford to hire someone, please do not waste each other’s time.
The company has approximately 90 to 100 employees, distributed between the factory site (Tucheng) and the office. During the interview process, I did not feel any basic mutual respect. The boss’s attitude was as if they were rushing to collect millions of dollars in outstanding accounts. The interview process was even stranger: the boss would talk with you first and explain everything, including the salary and benefits, then ask HR to come in and make small talk. It makes me wonder what HR is there for.
