None.
The interview took place many years ago, and it was the worst interview experience of my life. It is highly unlikely that I will ever have a worse one in the future.
Before the interview, I had looked up information about the company on social media and its website. However, when I went to the interview, I had spoken for less than a minute when the boss criticized me, saying, “Your description is too vague. I can’t work with you.” They then proceeded to try to drive me out, showing extreme rudeness toward a job applicant.
At the time, the company’s business included various foreign-language courses, travel packages, book writing, music courses, and more. It subsequently posted on 104 seeking lyricists and composers, apparently planning to enter music publishing. Yet the staff consisted of only the boss and one assistant (they often could not find anyone who both met the employer’s expectations and was willing to work). Where was the professionalism?
Moreover, the boss wanted to make use of job applicants’ abilities while showing no respect for their expertise, with remarks that repeatedly belittled the interviewee. It would be difficult to encounter a worse interview experience. This company has already gone out of business. If the same boss starts another venture in the future, job seekers should keep their eyes open. There is no need to spend time attending an interview only to be humiliated.
